Possessing nearly 20 years of experience in professional insurance, Anthony (Tony) Parato’s bold vision and leadership for TASK has attracted top talent with a client-centric culture that focuses efforts on creating value. In his current role as President of TASK Insurance Group, Tony has built a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries with a focus on helping them achieve their goals through a clear understanding of the risks they face today and will face tomorrow. Tony began his career with Xerox Corporation, where he spent 20 years in roles ranging from technician to district service manager and district sales manager. In 2002, he moved over to the insurance industry, where his technical skills, sales training and client servicing talents have helped businesses manage risks such as food spoilage, product recalls, crime, and more.
Tony attended Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, earning a degree in electronics engineering.
Tony is Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certified. HACCP is a food-industry management system focusing on safety through the analysis and control of biological, chemical and physical hazards ranging from raw material production, procurement and handling to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of finished products.
During his tenure with Xerox, Tony was one of a select few who were chosen to lead a worldwide sales process redesign, ultimately saving the company more than $8 million. While with Xerox, Tony participated in extensive sales leadership and ISO standards training, which is particularly relevant today in his engagements with manufacturing clients.
